Just did a pair of crossings in June, heading into Canada (Vancouver Island) they asked about chicken and fresh fruit, and they took the remainder of our US ranier cherries.
During the time in Canada, bought some more cherries, and by the time we got to the US boarder just south of Vancouver, had just a handful left, and they were past their prime, ready to be dumped.
Offered them up the US authorites, didn't want them, could keep the Canadian cherries we didn't want anymore. Go figure.
