- waldo617211ExplorerThe latest word I got from Bromleys in Sumas was that a 4kg sealed bag of potatoes was permitted?? YMMV.

It has been reported to the State of AZ. that eleven grapefruit and 24 oranges are missing in the Yuma area. This is a all points bullet. Pass it on.
We are in Florida now and I would like to know if I can take back Grapefruit & Oranges with me when I head north back to Canada?
Regards
Ted - betty_stevensonExplorerWe just got Nexus cards. They told us no potatoes or anything with a pit, like peaches, avocados, etc. But oranges, grapefruit, apples, strawberries, blueberries, etc. could be brought back.

The whole world is a single marketplace. Ya' don't have to grow it to sell it.
I purchased pineapple juice from Rougemont (a Quebec company) labled "Product of Canada" ..... must grow them between the orange groves. ;) - GruffyExplorerI purchased pineapple juice from Rougemont (a Quebec company) labled "Product of Canada" ..... must grow them between the orange groves. ;)

NY is a protected market because you grow citrus there. They don't want Canadian citrus flooding the NY market.
Odd, when we were going thru customs and returning home to NY, they specifically asked if we had citrus. - pigman1Explorer

I believe the OP is talking about bringing citrus INTO Canada from the US.

- pigman1ExplorerBeen told we couldn't bring apples in, but they never even asked about citrus.
- Community AlumniWe winter in the south, but through the summer months we cross border shop every week on our way home from NY state. We buy the lions share of our groceries in the US and have never had an issue with any products. The biggest thing is having to occasionally pay duty on something we did not expect to but never a large amount.
