With all the great advise you've given over the years, I know how much you love Colorado. Well, a couple of weeks of warranty work gets you to mid-September, and as you know, there will still be leaves in many places around this state. Just take a couple of weeks and stay in the southern half of the state. We've seen colorful aspen groves at low elevations into early October in southern CO. Look back at your photos and I'm sure you'll agree, the sky doesn't seem to get any deeper blue than fall with the aspens accentuating the color. Maybe if time is limited, you can do a motel trip for a week. (ugh!) :p
I'm sorry to hear of your troubles. I hope you get your truck issues sorted out, too. And maybe we'll see you somewhere yet this fall, stopped to look at our amazing scenery.
