It just reads to me that some are looking for a way to circumvent Canadian laws, in order to be able to exercise their 2nd Amendment rights..rights that they do not have in a foreign country. It is my un-learned and un-asked for opinion, that trying to out-smart the border folks and the RCMP...is fraught with peril. I will tell you now..that if someone were to witness a person using a US licensed vehicle in what to them appears to be an unlawful act? They will call the cops and I am betting that 'someone' is gonna be really unhappy with the outcome.
If you are going to Alaska? Ship your weapons. Or, go via the ferry system that provides a non-stop, no CDN border to cross, go right to Alaska and back.
