You would be living with your head in the sand if you were to think that the U.S. is a safe haven. Here the bad guys kill each other and the military is also doing a great job of rooting them out. In the U.S. murderers kill innocent children, family and each other.
If you truly believe that what is happening in Mexico is not happening in your neck of the woods you're nuts. The cartels are embedded in every major U.S. city and with a murder rate of 16,000 it's not all happening in Chicago and Detroit.
Get real folks, we live in much different times all around the world. If U.S. news were allowed to publish the news like we do in Mexico you would see a much different picture.
I believe it was in Los Angeles they found some people who were tortured and killed in a house. Now translate that into reality: Cartel members were found in the floor of a house in body bags with their corpses dismembered and beheaded.
Yet no one seems to respond to my previous posts about why we have this problem. Isn't it obvious that some countries live their liberty at the cost of others? The drug war and the drug czars and presidents who have promised an end to this for over 35 years and yet they can't control their own drug-crazed population; rehabs filled with addicts, meth addicts living and stealing on the streets, gang bangers taking over neighborhoods and lets not forget the wrath that has been placed on Mexico because there is such a demand for illegal and not to mention destructive drugs?
Bring home your military and put them on the border and patrol and clean up your mess first. Then maybe we can talk about who's afraid to visit Mexico and why.
