Wow ! I didn't realize how naïve I was, traveling around Mexico, having a good time ! I thought that 9 years without first, second or 3-hand bad news meant that everything was OK and that we could just carry on having a good time in all parts of the country (except the border areas). Now I find myself ducking when I see helicopters, checking those dangerous-looking farmers with their machetes - sure, they're clearing weeds !- I bet ! Let me know when everything is better again. Meanwhile we'll be in PV or Melaque, or Colima, or Patzcuaro, or Oaxaca, or Zipolite. RYV
