Toll Road Prices

can't tell you how this shady deal came about but he done it while he was in office. POLITICS.

in indiana our great formor gov.daniels sold the road to a foreign country and all the money goes there not on the worst toll road in the world.

Wonder how that works , as in states get federal funding for road work/construction/repair etc. I know the section of toll road we were on I swore I saw a VW bug disappear up ahead of us in one of the many hugh holes in the road :E

I don't worry about it the IPASS is on the DW's credit card.

An Easy-Pass from any state (some might have a better deal than others) makes toll roads much easier to deal with. Even for one long trip it would be worth having. Around October of this year all electronic tolls are supposed to be Easy-Pass compliant, throughout the country.

Street Atlas shows all toll everything as a different color (green - appropriate). You can then go to the state and find the toll schedule for that road/bridge - whatever. Just be ready. They will assess any RV as the worst (most expensive case) that they can make you fit. So, just bring your duck tape and vasoline.

For locating them: many/most road maps (the old-fashioned paper kind, at least) show toll roads separately from non-toll roads, often with a different color.

I just Google "state name" toll road. Typically comes up with a link to a toll calculator for that state.
