- MEXICOWANDERERExplorerToluca has neat shopping and is indeed at high altitude. Valle de Bravo is not that far away. Not a bad hideout but I have seen afternoon thunderstorm temps in the forty degree F range, and August night time temps in the low fifties, so just sayin'
- Roberto_in_MexiExplorerJust got a response from a friend who lived in Puebla for many years. He suggests Atlixco, Taxco, Tepoztlan and Cuernavaca over Toluca area. Says Lake Tequesquitengo is spectacular.
- fugawibillExplorerI'll be travelling a little South and East during that same time frame, in a campervan. It basically will be from Toluca, down and around to Pachuca. The area will be new to me, so hopefully you get some fine suggestions, that we both can take advantage of.
