Carlisles trailer tires are junk IMHO. Do a search of the internet and you will find complaint after complaint. Maxxis are one of the best but even they have problems. Both have failures and it doesn't matter if they are 10 ply or less. Purchase extras! When we use to take the Toyhauler SOB we would take 3 spares all 10 ply Maxxis. Finally upgraded to 16" rims and went to LT tires, then we had no problems.
