Travel Trailer In Newfoundland?

SLOW DOWN FOR THE FROST HEAVES!!!! Otherwise no problems.

Go early June to see the ice. There is a web site that list the ice burgs viewing dates, but I forget the webpage. Google and you should find it.

I think the ferry was only about $250.00 Round Trip. Make reservations on line.

Looks like a 41' one way is $640.39, so great info.

A) There is a section called RVing in Canada and Alaska and there have been several threads this year in that section on Newfoundland and Labrador.

B) Having lived in Newfoundland for 24.5 years ending in 2008, I well know that said island has sparse population. The Trans Canada is a major highway most of it at 100 clicks.

& I certainly can make suggestions for those who expect to be able to drive 100 clicks with only 3 inches clearance, but for heavens sakes kindly think ----------- Newfoundland is a modern province, it's not an isolated 3rd world country, as said wording implies.

We took our 45' MH to Newfoundland and no problem with any of the roads. You'll have no trouble. Enjoy the trip - it's fantastic.
