traveling on 74

Traveling form Fort Mill SC to Myrtle Beadh ( NORTH )

will be traveling Thursday from Carowinds to Myrtle Beach Travel Park and wondering if 74 is the best way ?

We usually go from PA and get off 95 onto 74 in Lumberton , how is 74 closer to Charlotte ? 2 lane , 4 lane , traffic lights ??

    THX . . I will be leaving Carowinds around 10:00A - 10:30A.. With me starting south of Charlotte , I will just be on 485 for a short time before exiting....

    74 is a good highway and good choice. Problem is around Charlotte. Once you get past Charlotte, Matthews, Monroe it will not be bad. Try to do it non rush hour. Not good anytime, but worse then obviously.

    Other option is 77 to Columbia, 20 to 95, then N on 95 to 327. 327 will take you to 76, 501 and MB.
