The southern entrance to the park is easily negotiable and you can get to the campground with no problem. However, if you continue uphill (north) to see some of the attractions of the park, the road is quite narrow, steep and winding. It's even more so if you continue into Kings Canyon.
I would just rent a cabin and drive into the park rather than put up with manhandling a big rig. It would probably be less expensive as well.
