Unless there is something you want to see along US 30 you are better off taking PA 283 to I83 to 581 to I81 south.
It's quicker than taking 30.
Taking 30 is a fair amount of stop and go traffic and a mountain to climb. The road is good but, a lot of it is 2 lane.
If you're not in a hurry and want to travel the Lincoln Highway, take US 30.
