US/Can entry and exit passport scanning plan
Don't get me wrong, this is not something I look forward to but, I thought all US and Canadian citizens would have their passports scanned entering and exiting the respective countries starting July 1...

I drive an OTR truck long distance in the summer. I crossed into the USA one time and the American border fellow asked me if I took my loads into Mexico. I asked why he wanted to know this and he said that when he scanned my passport and FAST card it showed multiple entries into Mexico @ Nogales. So they do have lots of information on all of us. No big deal.
