We live in the Cariboo Chilcotin and I can tell you that crime has increased a lot in the area around Williams Lake. Many vehicles are stolen and burned. A lot of cases of home invasions as well. I would not walk around Williams Lake in dark, that's for sure. And would not pull over in dark on the Chilcotin Highway!
