Va to Sturgis SD... what to see on the way
We are going for the 75th anniversary in Sturgis this year.Taking the MH and bikes Not sure which route we will drive yet. Just wondering if there is anything interesting to see on the way?

I can only say from STL. West to KC, on 70, rather boring as is KC to Omaha via 29, but that interstate is best,
2 ways to go, from Omaha
1, to Sioux Fall, up 29 to 90 across SD, great highway, straight as an arrow, gets good after passing Mo river. Wall drug of course and scenery around the badlands is good.
2 take 80 w of Omaha, to N platte or ogalalla to 61 up thru the Sand hills(awesome)to SD and up thru Pine Ridge reservation if you like great open spaces, scenery and history of the west.,1 lane , but a great route, should be ok in a MH.
If you have never been to Sturgis, be prepared for 75th ann. crowd. I was there for the 70th and last yr. We go about 4-5 days before the weekend start to get our riding in before the crowded rides start. either way, what a hoot.!
