Vancouver rv storage during cruise

Hi,
Looking for RV storage in Vancouver for 10 days in May while doing an Alaska cruise.Have priced a couple of RV parks quoted from $25/day. Any thoughts on other cheaper options ie storage yards etc.

  • I have parked my class c at YVR in long term parking for a day about 6 years ago.

I did call ahead to make sure it was okay (also that I could fit through the entrance and exit stanchions).
  • You might inquire about parking it at the airport. Back corner, out of their way at a "long term" "off airport" lot might work.

    Cheers.
  • Bcbouy, thanks for the offer, that's very generous of you.Still checking my options but will advise if wish to go ahead.
    Cheers

PS re depot company (US) does not have in Vancouver
  • i have a year round spot at a mini storage you can use,but its not in vancouver.its about 45 min.outside van,but the commuter train is a few blocks away and takes you right to the cruise ship dock.
  • Hi,

Are you renting a RV in Canada?, if so, ask if you can park it at the rental company depot but be aware that they will not provide any insurance or cover for any items left inside the RV and you will not be permitted to stay in the RV while it's parked at the depot.

    You could look at:
    vancouver.craigslist.ca/search/prk
You will find some offers here.
