As much as my dentist and doctors are in Mexico, for something like eye lid surgery, I'd go to a vet school, REALLY check out cleanliness, or just do without things in the states and get it done there.
Shots, normal stuff, ear/eye infections, no hesitation here in Mexico. Surgeries, that I had the option of scheduling, I'd do in the US if possible.
