You have rec'd good advice with all the replies above. Just relax and have a good time in Canada, it's a beautiful country, the people are great, crime is very low compared to the US, and you will learn many new things about North American history and settlements especially in Newfoundland and Nova Scotia. We have been to all of the provinces over the past few years and enjoyed every one of them. Hopefully you can visit Notre Dame Cathedral in Montreal and have a couple days in Quebec City; they are truly worth your time, the highways near Montreal are a little rough but just slow down and avoid the potholes! We liked the provincial and federal CG's for camping. Don't be in a hurry while you're in CA, and spend extra time if you can (or plan for a future visit real soon)!
