Moisheh, in Canada people die in emergency waiting rooms. Every year. With stroke and heart attack. Our newspapers only write about it when it happens after more than 5-6 hours of waiting and/or when the patient was aboriginal (presumed drunk), or some other hot potato.
Not to say that they don't die in Mex public hospitals.
The story with a hospital in Guadalajara is a little irrelevant to the OP. Yes, they have some fine hospitals there, but in Chapala/Ajijic few hours away - where the incident happened - there is none. Pretty much like in Kino.
