Wisconsin to Niagara Falls to Arcadia and Home

Hi All, What would you suggest as the best route from central Wisconsin to Niagara Falls, Maine and then home. Any suggestions for must see's along the way. We are retired so time is not a issue...

You DO need a passport to cross through Canada; the U.S. requires it to return to this country.
