Daunting? LOL. IMO if the section of road in that picture intimidates someone they certainly have no business towing anything, probably should not be driving while not towing.

Ditto on that, what's to worry about, you have nice wide shoulders and can see around the curve. Blind curves, narrow or no shoulders, and a big drop-off are cause for caution. Hwy 12 does not qualify.

Nah, the first time we did it was because of a gps shortest route misdirection and we were pulling a TT. We were a bit surprised of course but had no problems. Of course the TT was a 20 ft popup and we were driving a 'Burb. And being from Florida we are the prototypical flatlanders. It's all in your head.

We also did the Moki Dugway this summer. It was tense enough with a CC, LB dually. I can't imagine going down that in an uranium truck or towing anything for that matter. Anything longer than what we were in and you would have to stop, backup and line up again to make most of those switchbacks. Not for the faint hearted for sure.

We did it towing our fifth wheel and had no problems. There are several pull-outs where you can stop, get out, stretch, take a few photos, and relax a bit. We loved it and would do it again in a heartbeat, but then we live in Colorado and drive mountain roads every time we go camping.
