WOW The Middle Of September And No Hurricanes!

First trip to mainland Mexico in a tent, 1982. Straight to Bucerias, north of Puerto Vallarta (then, not now). Set up our tent under an untrimmed coconut palm, and parked the VW under it too. Fortunately a more knowledgeable person decided to educate us.

Now, we keep the big coco in our enclosed front yard well trimmed. The two on the edge of the street? Nope. Our "monkey" says if someone is dumb enough to park or stand under them and get hit, it's their fault. Hope he's right!
