Yellowstone Trip About To Begin

We were there in Mid May for 4 days. We could have used one or 2 more. Somethings weren't open at that time but it still was a good trip. We stayed in Madison Campground. There were only 3 open and Madison was the most centrally located. The weather was good,sunny and high 50's or low 60's. At night it dropped into the 40's or high 30's. I would suggest making reservations at the Old Faithful Inn. It's supposed to be the largest log structure in the world. The lobby is beautiful and the food was good. We saw a mother grizzly and 3 cubs on the road from Norris to Canyon.

I'm here now staying in Fishing Bridge..... Make sure you packed warm clothes. It's dropping down into the low 30s at night.

Well here we are all packed up and ready to leave first in the morning. Hopefully we miss most of the traffic thru LA.

We are planning 7 full days in the park, and I'm sure we will want more we just don't have the time. I am going through my final punchlist for getting the trailer ready. The last major thing I need to finish is repacking the wheel bearings toady. I also will inspect the tires since the wheels are off, but I know I am still within 5 yrs old since they were manufactured in 13. I just can't wait to be on the road

Your timing should be perfect! A big storm is going thru Montana this weekend and you should be just behind it. The storm is supposed to bring rain to freshen up the forests and snow to the high country (over 8000 ft). It will be gorgeous right behind that storm.
