Zion & Bryce Canyon
Coming from Las Vegas where to camp without going through Zion Tunnel to visit both parks? Any suggestions? (Too Big for tunnel)

The KOA is no more, gone. I am at Bauers right now. Nice little park with great WIFI. It is about 50 miles to Bryce and 35 to Zion. Leave some time for Red Canyon which is shortly after turning onto to Rt 12 heading to Bryce. The loop trail at Bryce starting at sunset point and ending at sunrise point (or vice versa) is really cool. We did the Riverwalk and the three emerald pools at Zion as well. Whatever you do don't take 14 from cedar city to 89. Goes up 4000 feet in one fell swoop. We are going to Vegas tomorrow via the Fredonia route.
