We only part-time travel but my advice is DO NOT GET ONE. It's essentially a time-share in different clothing. People I know who did buy in regretted it. They're very hard to resell and then you're stuck with annual maintenance fees.
If you like to change up adventures the weekly and monthly rates do just fine, leaves you free to roam where you wish, and you don't have the legal and real estate hassles of maintenance fees and resell.
