First night out will be at Banning Stagecoach KOA.Second night will be at Ventura Beach RV Resort.Third night will be at Morro Dunes RV Park.Forth night will be staying at Half Moon Bay State Park for the first time.Fifth night at Willits KOASixth night at Harris Beach State ParkSeventh night at Yachats Sea Perch RV ResortMemorial Day weekend staying at Grayland Beach State Park for the first time.Then to Pacific Beach State Park for the month of June.Hope to be able to post some pictures of our sites as we go.

I might suggest suggest breaking up your trip with a 2 night stay about 1/2 way up your trip. Give yourself and family time to relax to take some of the strees of out your trip i.e. a 2 nighter at Harris State beach. If possible I would skip Willits KOA then go to Cresent City. Not a big deal but I just try to avoid KOA's, price is too high and they tend to have a bunch of kids running around making noise.

Like Willits because the site we have reserved has its own private hot tub.

Just arrived Tuesday at park in Copalis Beach. It is gorgeous here as usual. Last clam dig of season this weekend. Expect lots of people. Hope you have makeable reservations.

Have a great time. I like KOA's kids and all. They almost always have a FHU pull through which is what I prefer. We will be staying in about 15 of them this summer including Crescent City. That is out of 30 campgrounds total.

Out of curiosity what do you have planned for the month? That seems like a long time (to me)at Pac Beach. I think best fish & chips in town is a bar 3 or 4 down from restaurant at curve at north end and short walk from campground. Don't remember the name, but got them "to go" and they were still warm by the time I got back to campsite. Later in late summer, salmon can be caught in river, little bit south of Pac Beach. Camped with Daughter in law how is a science teacher from So Cal and is fascinated by tsunami's and actually ran across a county worker that his job was educating the public about them. Did they ever talk. We I like the beach access better off from Analyde gap road (couple miles north). Hard to get stuck if you don't drive on beach, just park at bottom for a good long walk on beach and usually more shells at low tide than at Pac Beach being there is less people.See L&L in google maps 47.219258, -124.207355

Eighth Day at Grayland State Beach. Will be here for three days. The sunny weather we brought with us got delayed by one day it was raining yesterday when we arrived and rained most of the night. High today of 62 and a low of 49 with a heat wave arriving for Monday high of 73 and a low of 43.
