Out of curiosity what do you have planned for the month? That seems like a long time (to me)at Pac Beach. I think best fish & chips in town is a bar 3 or 4 down from restaurant at curve at north end and short walk from campground. Don't remember the name, but got them "to go" and they were still warm by the time I got back to campsite. Later in late summer, salmon can be caught in river, little bit south of Pac Beach. Camped with Daughter in law how is a science teacher from So Cal and is fascinated by tsunami's and actually ran across a county worker that his job was educating the public about them. Did they ever talk. We I like the beach access better off from Analyde gap road (couple miles north). Hard to get stuck if you don't drive on beach, just park at bottom for a good long walk on beach and usually more shells at low tide than at Pac Beach being there is less people.
