True what "MitchF150" said about fog at Pacific Beach. We were there for a weekend 3 years ago and the fog never lifted. Also been there without the fog and there is not a prettier place to camp. Take the good with the bad. We normally stay at the KM campground which is 10-15 miles south of Pacific Beach. Rarely ever foggy there.
