Those who are upset by the intrusion of their fellow RVers into their personal space, what is preventing you from packing a backpack and taking your campsite into actual wilderness? There are plenty of secluded places even a mile from the road, and no generators.
Personally, I've spent decades doing this and it sucks. The last straw for me was watching a bear calmly rip apart my trailside campground while I cowered helplessly in my bivi bag, miles from any help.
With my TT (and generator) I can go anywhere in there's a decent road and know that I'm not disturbing anyone who's earned any special level of solitude--as long as the rules allow it. Without a heavy pack I can do 15, 20 miles on a day hike and enjoy it for a change, depending on how fast I waddle along (it's pretty sad-looking, really). When I return I just fire up the gennie and I have all the important comforts of home: hot shower, cold beer and microwave pizza.
Er, I'm not certain how the poodle robot will fit into all of this.
