I don't really see how we are that different. We both boondock alone, both roughed it for decades and we both took measures so that we didn't have to listen to our Champs. We both want to do it our own way and that's what boondocking is all about. You want to run either of your generators 24/7, go for it. The question here is excess when it impacts others.
Now if you think robo puppy as a joke could tick off a neighbor, I'll raise you the whole campground with three yappy mini schnauzers. Uncontrolled they see something and start barking and then feed off each other until stopped by one of us. The lack of a rule doesn't make listening to them any more appealing just as it doesn't my generator acceptable 24/7. I know the dogs will get a few barks off from time to time in a CG and expecting no generator use is unrealistic. A excess of either gets old real quick.
