I really think that if you stay in a campground you get what you get. In fact- it is just obtuse and ridiculous to think people would buy an rv with a generator and then not use it if/when and as much as they want. Its their money, their vacation, their idea of camping and you make the choice to camp or not camp where a person like this may park right next to you. In other words- Those in search of solitude should never plan on getting it in a campground.
Some folks like absolute quiet when camping others like to be able to power up everything they have and live like they do at home. Who is more right? Neither-
A lot more camp spots outside of parks/campgrounds than there are in them. I suggest folks look for these type of spots rather than complain about something they can never change.
Works for us when we want that type of camping experience.
