The Silver Slipper is just a parking lot. It gets wiped out regularly during hurricane season. Call and make sure it's open.
Buccaneer SP is just up the street and it's very nice. They rebuilt after Katrina and put all the infrastructure up on stilts so they're less susceptible to flooding.
Choose the road to get for I-10 out to the coast carefully. There are some bad grade crossings in the area that may bottom out anything being towed. Last I checked the SP website directions sent you over one. It's best to use the casino road. It has a completely flat grade crossing.
