To clarify, I believe that LA state parks honor the America the Beautiful pass only if you are from one of those few other states that also honor it. This from the LA state park web site:
"Holders of the Passes, whose state of residence also honors the America the Beautiful pass, are entitled to a 50% reduction on camping fees at Louisiana State Parks."
