Oak Mtn SP is one of our favorite places to visit with Desoto SP a close second. Oak Mountains campground is not at any elevation, actually sits in a bowl. Driving or hiking to Pevine Falls is beahtiful.
Desotos drive to the top and coming back down the first time I was alittle nervous but the campground is fantastic with lofs to see all around. One of our yearly visits.
Cheaha SP is our favorite, of course I'm biased as I live in the National Forest only 15 miles from the top. I've never camped there but looking at their campground it would be a little bit of a challenge getting our 40' in there. The climb from 431 to the top is not for the faint of heart. Long climb up but worth the visit. Many waterfalls, great trails and views and a couple small caves if know where to go.
Have fun and come visit.
