Amelia Island, FL
Where is the best and nearest campground to Amelia Island and Fernadina Beach, FL. Tried Fort Clinch State Park but no luck.

- Try TALBOT ISLAND SP, FL it's nearby.
- X2 on Little Talbot.
- We've stayed at Crooked River SP in Georgia, which is about 40 minutes from Amelia Island. Its a nice park, and I think it to be a good option if Little Talbot and Fort Clinch are booked.
- A little further south is kathryn-abbey-hanna-park. Most sites on Little Talbot are small - but it is nice. You can see pictures of the sites HERE
- If you can get on base in Jacksonville, Fla the RV Park (Pelican Roost) on Mayport Naval Base is an excellent place. We were there a couple of years ago and made Amelia Island, Fernandina Beach, St. Augustine, etc.
