Relative stayed there with their cat and no dogs. The cat never went outside and so there was no need to tell the cg hosts that the cat even existed. No problem. Those fees are for clean up and other "added value" excuses that the pets may cause a problem.
Personally I wouldn't stay there. Too much money for too little value. There's plenty of nice campgrounds within a decent driving distance for much less money.
