Any recent Visits to Lake Myers in Mocksville NC

Have friends that rave about Lake Myers. They are not the party type, have two small boys and look for nice family places. Normally we like the same campgrounds. They want us to go, but I am concern...

We have driven thru as it is not far from our residence. Would never stay. Would not want to even tow rig thru their campgrd roads. Everything is so tight that you feel claustrophobic driving down a road. What we saw were campers crammed in at all angles. Yes, most seem to be permanent. I don't think I've ever had such a negative impression of a campgrd & I've been camping 45+ years!!
