Anyone Boondocked at Scioto Downs Casino (Columbus, Ohio)

I guess some general questions are, can you gamble some then go out to the RV maybe have a drink and snack in there then go back and gamble again etc? We would also purchase food and drink inside the casino also.

Correct, just staying overnight. No outside the RV camping. Just a place to sleep.

I called Scioto Downs and they said RV and Semi's park in the gravel area off to the side. I have seen other RV's park in an obscure part of the paved parking lot. My Class B can fit in a regular parking spot but my girlfriends potential Class C (She is looking for one) would have to park in the gravel. (See arrow in picture)

Looks good, plenty of parking. I'm sure the races/horses are very entertaining. It's good manners to spend a bit of money inside.

(I am the original poster) Well, we ended up staying over night there last Wednesday. We did not park where the arrow is in the photo above. We parked in the far angle of the parking lot since it was not a busy night. Girlfriend and I had a great time. We gambled but did not over due it plus had a few drinks since we were staying there overnight. Staff was friendly. We even went in the next morning for some coffee and brief gambling.

We have now boondocked at Scioto Downs three times total since I started this thread. We had a great time Saturday night eating at the Brew Brothers eatery. Great cheeseburger and fries meal for only $9.99.

We gambled and had a few drinks plus gave our thanks even more by eating at the buffet at noon the next day then departed. My suggestion here is to park away from the casino in the section which has the least cars parked and take up little space as needed. The girlfriends RV only takes up one space. The picture map I showed in this thread where semi's and RV's are to park looks to currently be used for construction going on with a hotel they are adding there.
