Apache trout campground
Can anyone tell me if the Big lake campgrounds are open, above Springerville AZ. Hate to make the 5 hour drive to be turned back.

It is a National Forest Campground. It will be closed during the government shutdown. Not sure you can even get anybody to answer the phones if you call the Apache-Sitgreaves NF or one of their ranger districts. The website says they are closed.
