Approved fire devices at Ft Wilderness

My luck is that I get caught and have to shut down the party.

We just left the fort yesterday. I chuckled as I thought of their very specific handout of EXACTLY what is, and isn't acceptable, for burning wood and propane, as we walked and golf carted past fires going in "non-approved" enclosures. Not to mention the many folks I've seen, over the years, sitting in a circle, with brews in hand, watching the firewood fires they have roaring in their site's permanent BBQ grilles.

Did you open the PDF ? Disney shows a picture of an open propane campfire in the “not allowed” section.

As a former dealer for NewFrontier campfires, I think it’s stupid.

From what i've seen thus far, they have to be covered & screens all the way around to keep embers and sparks inside. But IMO those are for wood But as you stated will probly have to call for exact verification.

Propane ring units are found in places like Walmart and probably Amazon.
