Asheville in October?
I'm going to rent an TT from Fort Bragg and head for the mountains in October to see the leaves. Can anyone recommend a park to try? Or perhaps one to avoid? Thanks!

Try Winngrey near Maggie Valley. I doubt they fill-up. I've stayed there a few times, and they are convenient to Cattaloochie Valley in GSMNP, where the elk are, but they are probably out of the rut by October. It's also very convenient to the Blue Ridge Parkway.
