Asheville in October?
I'm going to rent an TT from Fort Bragg and head for the mountains in October to see the leaves. Can anyone recommend a park to try? Or perhaps one to avoid? Thanks!

During our stay at Asheville East KOA, we had a pull through. They are grouped together in one section; we liked that section. Most of the back in sites are in a different section...they seemed smaller with more highway noise. So if you have a choice of sites, consider springing for the pull through
We were at Asheville East just a month of so back, and would be hard-pressed to ever go back. I made our reservation on line, and ended up in a back-in site in section B that was littered with cigarette butts and so narrow that our awning on one side was within 3 feet of our neighbor's rig, while the the slide on the other side was almost up to that neighbor's table. If you have to stay there, I also strongly recommend that you call for your reservation and get a guarantee from them that you'll get a pull through. If they tell you that all they have are sites B-1 thru B-11, go elsewhere!
