Would like to find a nice campground in the Asheville area. Plan to go in October. Looking for suggestions. Some of the places we've checked on are already full!

I would check around some more. Use to live up the road from French Broad, and it is not much unless they have upgraded it. Very tight and a rig of much length will have trouble.
Not sure if it is French Broad River Campground, but her and her husband stayed at one in that area near the river. She said it was a mud pit...perhaps a lot of rain or something.
