- JoeTampaExplorerWhat kind of campground are you looking for? Woods/nature, more of a suburban feel, or a full-blown resort (pool, bar, etc)?
- Big_KatunaExplorer III forgot about Williston Crossings. Excellent park, HUGE spaces.
- Jim_ShoeExplorerProbably too late for beachfront on either coast and/or south of Orlando. I found a place a few years ago at exit 31 off of I-10, but I was looking for a place close to the Naval Aviation Museum in Pensacola, FL. where I was stationed. The CG was about 20 miles north of the beach. I drove down to the beach while there. A few people walking on the beach, but nobody was in the water. Too cold.
- sdianel_-acct_cExplorerTry Quail Run RV Resort in Wesley Chapel FL. Just north of Tampa.

farther north is Williston Crossings in Willison FL is near Ocala. Quiet small town with everything you need and short drive to Ocala or the gulf. - Peg_LegExplorerBushnell got down to 34 twice last season. Propane went from $17 to $25 for 30#. Absolutely brutal winter, Brrrr.
- Bears_DenExplorerThere are two seasons in Florida, Hurricane & Snowbird. Snowbird fills up fast especially to the south. Lol. I camp up north because I look forward to the colder weather after a hot and humid summer. Last January I was camping at Anastasia SP in St. Augustine and it was in the 40s for the high, it was great. Beats below zero up north.
- Dick_BExplorerTry Blueberry Hill in Bushnell, FL. I doubt they ever fill up.

I don't know why a Vermonter would want to go way south in Florida be too hot for them even in the winter. I don't recall more than a day or two we didn't have to run the AC last winter.
I concur. I grew up in Michigan but have lived in Florida since he late 60s.
I like a few frosts and wearing a shirt jacket in the evening around a fire. - stickdogExplorerI don't know why a Vermonter would want to go way south in Florida be too hot for them even in the winter. I don't recall more than a day or two we didn't have to run the AC last winter.

These are all nice parks. If you call them, be sure to ask if they have any first timer rates or internet specials.
