Avoid Windy Nation for Solar Components

This is the first company I have seen where the customer is always wrong. Bad ordering system, no emails except your order has shipped. No courtesy, just attitude. No I am getting harassing emails. Avoid this company, there are so many good ones.

I never got a confirmation when ordering and gave up. No confirmation email was ever sent. I ordered somewhere else. Then their order shows up. No apology no offering to work at a solution. Many other people have had the same experience. Avoid at all costs.

  • Three year ago I bought 2 100 watt Windy Nations panels and a 30 amp charger. I had a good transaction with them and the unit works properly. By the way, I am not associated with Windy Nation in any way. I just had good service.
  • Could they have had a management change? I received good service from them three-four years ago. Visited their warehouse too.
  • Sidecar, I have a rural mailbox,
    I tried to get a refund and refuse delivery, they just sent harassing emails.
    Renogy seems fine. Many others are good. Windy Nation needs to go out of business. Boycott them.
  • Simple answer, refuse delivery, what I do. I bought Renology, good company to deal with.

    There are a lot of 'bargains' out there but most of the bargains turn out to be grief.
