Bahia Honda Status ?
Any news on Bahia Honda campground ? Their website says closed and under repairs. We have reservations for mid- Feb. so was just wondering if anyone's been by and seen first hand what's going on.

- Thanks for posting the pics. It's good to see what I can expect when I go there this summer. Hopefully the vegetation will continue to fill in between the sites like it was.

- Ok I’ll check both sites, and boat area hopefully tomorrow. We got down to Fiesta Key a little later than expected today, but the waterfront site is worth it

No Drones, boat ramp, Concession, Oceanside, Alcohol, Fishing, Paddleboarding, or Kayaking. Sounds wonderful.
I guess you don't own your own kayak.
Bahia Honda is one of the best spots in the Keys for making it your base camp for kayaking.
You can head south and take off from multiple places from Big Pine Key, Cudjoe Key, etc or head north back to Marathon and take off from Multiple places there too.
Jack L- I always managed to get something 14-17. Even got both 16 & 17 once---the odds of that is astronomical. At any given time I had 5 paid-up 2 week reservations.
