Bald Ridge Park Lake Lanier, GA

Staying here now. Gonna leave early because of the rude camp host at the gate. Kinda rude to guest we had last night and overall rude about everything else. There is a private park called twin lakes in Cumming, Ga we will be looking to stay at next time and or finish our trip up here.

Wife and I dont drag our camper 6 hours to be treated like this. Never ever had issues in all the years in RVing.

RVer beware

Overall nice area but not worth putting up with the angry people at the gate. Hopefully the will move on soon.

    I think we will do that. Thanks for the tip. It is just this certain lady with the initials BJS when we first checked in there was the sweetest older couple and we're very nice and helpful but this lady up there now all I can say is just wow. We feel like we at a concentration camp or something with her in charge of who goes in and out.

    Definitely post your assessment at TripAdvisor.com under accommodations. As mentioned in other threads, there's been a problem with RV Park Reviews censoring negative reviews. So TripAdvisor.com has become popular with RVers. You might want to consider staying at Don Carter Georgia State Park. They have some full hook ups on Lake Lanier in a quiet area north of Gainesville. Arrive early to get the nicer sites. Very polite staff and easy access from I-985. http://www.gastateparks.org/DonCarter

    Be sure to post your review in rvparkreviews. We stayed there 2 years ago and loved that CG. Everybody we met was nice. May be a new cast of characters there now.
