Silver Strand State Beach is right on the ocean, several miles south of Coronado. It is just a sandy parking lot but does have electric and water at each site but not sewer. There is a dump station. The sites are very small and close together but you will never get closer to the Pacific. Reservations are always a good idea and it is very expensive. I think the one night we spent there last fall came to around $71. The CG is locked down at eight every night.
