- coolmom42Explorer IISome friends of mine who live in Mobile went over Christmas. They didn't mention anything about fire damage.
There was some minor hurricane damage in 2004 but nothing since then. I didn't find anything on their FB page or a Google search about a fire, either. - TxTwoSomeExplorer

Thanks I had also looked on their website. But sometimes they leave out things that are not positive!:D
So I like to talk to someone who has been recently. Thanks for your info I am sure your friends would have mentioned it. - coolmom42Explorer IIIf there was one, the effects had been either repaired or replanted quickly. I'm sure their army of housekeepers and groundskeepers could erase a lot of damage fast!
- Alabama_JimExplorerI have not heard anything about a fire at Bellingrath Gardens. Can't swear it didn't happen, but it would be a big surprise to me.
- AllworthExplorer IIIt was closed a couple of years due to Katrina (or maybe Ivan) damage, a while back. I never heard anything about a fire.
- cruiserjsExplorerSo - where in this wide world would that be??

Bellingrath Gardens is in southern Alabama. - 2gypsies1Explorer IIIIf you stay in Gulf Shores, Alabama you can take your car on the short ferry across the bay - a unique and pleasant way to get to the Gardens. By the way, the Gardens are awesome on a night around Christmas - nice decorations.
